This is the first time I've actually read the entire series. Decades ago only read up to book 4, and finally able to finish the series. I enjoyed the first 4 books, but the last book leaves a lot of things hanging. I'm not sure if there were supposed to be more books to this series or if the intent was to leave almost everything unresolved.

its matched up with all of his other books perfectly and makes you wish he would right more in the universe of the series
No resolution to the conflicts, the subhuman Gasam and Larissa still alive and well. The series needs a 6th book to give some kind of closure.
